NELA Cohort IV Fellows, Sylvia Anthony-McGeachy and Keith Parker present at the National Council for the Social Studies Conference. The conference was held in New Orleans November 13-15, 2015. Thousands of educators, academics, policy makers and administrators from around the world attended. Their conference title was "Historical Re-enactments in the Elementary Social Studies Classroom: Engaging Kids Through Primary Source Investigation". Cohort V's own, Mary Bridgers, was featured as the Edgecombe County Public Schools' Teacher Spotlight the week of November 14th.
